AMI continues to spur the initiative to develop Malaysian K-workers.
The Advanced Manufacturing Institute (AMI) continues the initiative to develop local K-workers in 2007 by conducting Industrial Skills Enhancement Program (INSEP). The a one-year training program for unemployed and fresh graduates was specially customized for developing and enhancing personal skills and develop the technology expertise in specialize industry area. The training focused on the two crucial parts in producing a professional quality K-worker. The program is organized in collaboration with Ministry of Finance (MOF) and supported by the Malaysian industry.
The first intake for Industrial Skill Enhancement Program (INSEP) 2007 has registered 19 participants in Herbal Plantation and Processing Technology (HPPT) and 23 participants in Industrialized Building System (IBS) on the 8 January 2007.
